Our large double axle car trailer is ideal for transporting vehicles with up to a 2100kg gross weight, they are often used for carrying large vehicles, moving project cars or substituting an expensive tow truck. The trailer features two removable ramps, a beaver-tailed back end and a solid tray. With our large storage capacity, we are a go-to for car trailer hire in Bendigo.

Can Smart Hire provide other building equipment?
Yes! Smart Hire has a wide range of site & general hire equipment, going from builders toilets, temporary fencing & rubbish cages, to excavators, bobcats and scissor lifts.

Q1. Does Smart Hire provide Shackles, light cables, and straps?
Yes! Every trailer provided by our company comes with the recommended 1000kg rated shackles, an assortment of light leads & adaptors. However, straps are only provided when hiring with machinery and are not included when simply hiring a trailer.
Q2. Are there any hidden costs involved when hiring a trailer from Smart Hire?
Smart Hire does take a $3 charge for providing a mandatory trailer lock (used to lock up the trailer when not in use), as well as a deposit that is dependent on the size of the trailer being hired.
Q3. Do we provide Insurance?
No. Any/ all damages incurred during the hire period will be paid for through either a security deposit (taken at the beginning of the hire) or via the customer’s personal insurance.
Q4. Do we cater to interstate hire?
No. Smart Hire only allows for travel within Victoria and has no national branches.
Q5. How can I cancel my hire booking? Are there any cancellation fees involved?
A customer may cancel their booking at any time, however, we do request that it be as early as possible in order to not inconvenience the business operations.
